How do I add the loading screen to my FiveM server?

Download the resource ZIP from your dashboard after saving your screen. Unzip it into your server's resources/ folder and add ensure loadingscreen to your server.cfg. That's it — one line.

Do I need a server, hosting, or a domain?

Nothing at all. Your loading screen is hosted at fivemloadingscreen.pro. The resource ZIP on your FiveM server is just a thin pointer — it fetches the latest version automatically every time a player loads in.

How long does the initial setup take?

Most servers are live in under 5 minutes. Pick a template, customise the name and colours, save, download the ZIP, drop it in your server — done.

Can players click or interact with the screen while loading?

FiveM intentionally disables all pointer input during the load phase, so players cannot click. However, your music plays, animations run, bass-reactive logos pulse, and the loading bar updates in real time — players see a fully polished welcome screen without interaction.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan gives you 1 active screen, access to free templates, all standard widgets, and hosting — forever. Free screens show a small FiveM LoadingScreen · by PiTyUs watermark. No credit card required to sign up.

Do I need to re-upload the resource after every change?

Never. After the initial setup the resource ZIP never changes — it only points to our CDN. Every time you hit Save in the editor, the new version is live for players who connect within ~60 seconds. No restarts, no re-uploads.

How many widgets can I place on a screen?

There is no hard widget limit. You can stack multiple widgets in the same grid cell or use free-form positioning to place them anywhere on the canvas with pixel precision.

Can I add a YouTube video or my own video as background?

Yes. The background picker supports YouTube URLs (live and VODs), direct video file uploads (MP4/WebM), static images, solid colours, and CSS gradients. Video backgrounds auto-mute on load to comply with browser autoplay policy — players can unmute via the floating control.

What is the bass-reactive logo feature?

Upload your server logo and enable bass-reactive mode. The logo will pulse in sync with the background music's bass frequencies using a Web Audio analyser — creating a subtle breathing effect that reacts to the beat.

Can I use my own custom fonts or images?

All 30 display fonts are Google Fonts loaded on demand. For images, upload directly inside the editor — backgrounds, logos, and widget assets are all uploadable. Custom font file uploads (TTF/OTF) are on the roadmap for Premium.

What is the Custom HTML widget?

Premium accounts can inject a raw HTML + CSS snippet anywhere on the canvas. The code runs inside a sandboxed iframe — you can embed custom countdowns, leaderboards, or anything else JavaScript can render.

How does free-form widget positioning work?

Every widget has a "free position" toggle. When enabled, drag it anywhere on the canvas. The position is stored as percentage coordinates so it scales correctly across every screen resolution.

Can I preview what the screen looks like before going live?

Yes — the live preview panel on the right updates in real time as you edit. You can also open a full-screen preview in a new tab to see exactly what players will see, including animations, music, and widget data.

What is the Lifetime plan?

Pay €50 once and keep Premium-level access forever — no recurring charges. Lifetime members also receive reselling rights: you can build and deliver loading screens to other server owners under your own brand.

What happens if I downgrade my plan?

Your existing screens remain live and are never deleted. If you exceed the new tier's screen or storage limits, creating new screens and uploading new assets will be blocked until you either upgrade again or remove existing content.

Does the free plan show ads on the loading screen?

No ads, ever. Free screens display a small FiveM LoadingScreen · by PiTyUs watermark in one corner. Paid plans (Pro and above) remove it entirely — your branding only.

How many screens can I have per plan?

Free — 1 screen. Pro — up to 10 screens. Premium / Lifetime — unlimited screens. Each screen can have its own widgets, templates, and configuration.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. Payments are processed securely — we never store card details.

If your purchase was in the last 7 days and you have not actively used the paid features (custom screens, video backgrounds, etc.), reach out and we will process a full refund. After 7 days or active use, refunds are evaluated case by case.

Which FiveM artifact versions are supported?

The resource uses the standard loadscreen directive and a minimal server-side script compatible with every CFX artifact released in the last 3 years. There are no custom natives or framework dependencies.

Does it work with ESX, QBCore, or other frameworks?

Fully framework-agnostic. The loading screen resource runs before any framework initialises — it requires only a vanilla FiveM server. No ESX, QBCore, or ox_lib dependencies whatsoever.

How quickly do changes go live after I save?

Our CDN propagates updates within 30–60 seconds. Players who are already in a queue or mid-load will see the previous version; the next player to connect sees the updated screen.

What happens if fivemloadingscreen.pro has downtime?

Your FiveM loading screen falls back gracefully — players see FiveM's default blank screen and continue loading normally. Your server is never blocked by our infrastructure. Uptime is monitored 24/7.

How does the live server status widget get player counts?

You provide your server's CFX endpoint URL (e.g. https://yourip:30120). The widget polls the /info.json endpoint — the same one CFX uses — and refreshes on the interval you set (default 15 s).

Is the editor data stored securely?

All screen configurations, uploaded assets, and account data are stored encrypted at rest. Assets are served from a CDN over HTTPS. We follow OWASP best practices and never log sensitive user content.

Can I self-host the loading screen instead of using the CDN?

Not currently — the hosted model is what enables instant updates without resource re-uploads. A self-hosted export option (static HTML + assets bundle) is planned for Lifetime members on the roadmap.

Can I use any template on the free plan?

Free templates are fully available on all plans. Templates marked Pro require a Pro or higher subscription. Premium templates require Premium or Lifetime.

Can I start from a template and fully customise it?

Every template is a starting point, not a constraint. After selecting one, every element is editable — background, fonts, colours, widgets, layout, server name, rules, staff. Nothing is locked.

Are new templates added over time?

Yes. New templates are released with major and minor version updates. Lifetime and Premium members get early access. Follow the changelog to see what's new.

Can I save my own screen as a reusable template?

Personal saved templates (private presets) are on the roadmap for Premium and Lifetime accounts. Currently you can duplicate any screen from the dashboard to reuse a layout.

Where do the 30 fonts come from?

All fonts are open-licence Google Fonts — no licensing restrictions for commercial use. They are loaded on demand via the Google Fonts CDN, so only the fonts used on your screen are downloaded by players.

Can I set different fonts for headings and body text?

Yes. The font picker has separate selectors for Display font (used for the server name and headings) and Body font (used in widget content and descriptions). You can also scale the overall font size with a slider.
